Short answer
Check that your particulars, photograph and signature on the Admit Card match your Confirmation Page, and note your centre, date and timing. If anything is wrong, contact the NTA Help Line between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM straight away. You will still take the exam with the Admit Card you downloaded, and NTA will correct its records later.
Based on the NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin. The 2027 bulletin hasn't been published yet — rules can change, so check it when it is.
Who this applies to
All NEET (UG) candidates who have downloaded their Admit Card
The rule, explained
The Admit Card is issued provisionally, subject to you meeting the eligibility conditions. You download it from https://neet.nta.nic.in/. It is not sent by post, and no duplicate is issued at the exam centre.
You can only take the exam at the centre, on the date and at the time given on your Admit Card. Requests to change the question paper medium, exam centre, date or time shown on it are not considered.
Read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully. If you cannot download it, contact the Help Line (10:00 AM to 05:00 PM) or email neetug2026@nta.ac.in.
For NEET (UG) 2026, candidates had to bring a printed Admit Card with a passport-size photo pasted on it (the same one uploaded in the form), one more passport-size photo for the Attendance Sheet, a postcard-size (4"X6") colour photo pasted on the proforma downloaded with the Admit Card, an original valid photo ID, and the PwBD certificate if claiming relaxation.
Keep your Admit Card in good condition. The bulletin says to preserve it until your admission to an undergraduate medical course.
What the official document says
