When does the NEET UG correction window open and which details can I change in it?

Previous-year referenceApproved by M.B. Patil Education admissions team, 23 Oct 2026 · source-checked 22 Oct 2026

Short answer

For NEET (UG) 2026, the correction window ran from 10 March 2026 to 12 March 2026, after online applications closed on 08 March 2026. The bulletin said corrections would be allowed in only certain fields, to be notified at a later stage; it does not list those fields itself.

Based on the NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin. The 2027 bulletin hasn't been published yet — rules can change, so check it when it is.

The rule, explained

Outside the correction window, details cannot be changed. The bulletin says the information in your form becomes final and non-editable once you pay the fee and the Confirmation Page is generated. NTA will not consider any request for change except in the permitted fields during the correction window.

Appendix X of the bulletin says choices such as the exam centre city and the medium of the question paper cannot be changed later, except when the window for correction in all fields opens.
