How admission through NEET (UG) works

  1. Appear in NEET (UG) conducted by NTA and obtain the qualifying percentile for your category.
  2. NTA publishes the All India Rank; merit lists, domicile and counselling are handled by the admitting authorities — NTA has no role in them.
  3. Register with MCC for 15% All India Quota and deemed/central seats, and separately with your State counselling authority for state-quota seats.
  4. Fill and lock choices in each round, report to the allotted college with original documents, and track every official notice on mcc.nic.in and your state portal.
