What documents are required for Maharashtra engineering CAP?

Previous-year referenceApproved by M.B. Patil Education admissions team, 23 Oct 2026 · source-checked 22 Oct 2026

Short answer

Every candidate uploads, while filling the CAP application form, the SSC (Class 10) mark sheet, the HSC/diploma mark sheet, the qualifying exam mark sheet, the entrance exam score card, a school leaving certificate if needed to support a claim, and a certificate of Indian nationality. On top of that you upload documents for your candidature type (A to E) and for any category or special seat you claim — for example caste and caste validity certificates, a non-creamy layer certificate, an EWS certificate, or an income certificate for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS).

Based on the State CET Cell's Information Brochure for 2026–27 admissions (dated 02.07.2026). The 2027–28 brochure hasn't been published yet — the list and certificate validity dates can change, so check it when it is.
