Short answer
For the 2026 counselling, MCC listed these originals for joining: MCC allotment letter, NBE admit card and result/rank letter, MBBS 1st, 2nd and 3rd professional mark sheets, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship completion certificate, State Medical Council registration certificate, 10th certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth, and an ID proof. Based on MCC's NEET-PG Counselling 2026 Information Bulletin. The 2027 bulletin hasn't been published yet — rules can change, so check it when it is.
Who this applies to
Candidates allotted a seat in MCC PG counselling (AIQ, Deemed, Central University/Institute and DNB seats)
The rule, explained
Internship: bring an internship completion certificate, or a certificate from the head of your institution that you will complete it by 30th September of the year of admission (30th September, 2026 for the 2026 session). A provisional registration certificate was accepted only if you were still doing your internship and would finish by that date.
ID proof: one of Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card, as listed in NBE's NEET bulletin.
If they apply to you: an SC/ST certificate (with sub-caste clearly mentioned), an EWS certificate as per Central Government norms, or an OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate whose sub-caste matches the Central OBC list, each in the bulletin's format and in English or Hindi. A translated certificate must be certified by a Gazetted Officer. For 2026, OBC and EWS income/status was based on the financial year ending March 31, 2026.
PwD candidates need the Eligibility Certificate from MCC's designated Medical Assessment Board for the 21 benchmark disabilities; no other certificate is accepted. NRI/OCI candidates bring the originals of the documents they uploaded.
You will not be admitted without original documents, and a letter saying your originals are deposited with another institute is not accepted. Documents may vary by college, so check with your allotted college before reporting.
