Branches that closed highest
Computer Engineering had the highest median closing percentile — 92.84 — ahead of Information Technology (90.34) and Computer Science and Engineering(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) (87.12). The spread inside each branch is wide: the same branch can close above 99 at one institute and far lower at another.

Turning cut-offs into a CAP option form
- Mix the branch and the institute. A strong institute’s mid-ranked branch can close lower than a smaller institute’s computer branch — list both.
- Check your seat type. Home University, Other Than Home University, ladies, TFWS and reserved-category seats each close at their own percentile.
- Expect movement. Later CAP rounds re-offer vacated seats, so cut-offs can shift either way.
